Nope. Childress grandson runs a limited amount of Late Model races at south boston but he(Austin Dillard) mainly runs the Busch East series. Jeb will be running in the limited division against Bruce Anderson, Lee Pulliam, Danny Willis Jr., Tommy Peregoy, etc. Limited is a tough field at sobo, I wouldn't be looking for great things right off the start. |

the toughest part of SoBo isn't who you race, it's the track itself...if you're not hooked up, miserable evening. nowhere to pass and if someone gets crossed up in front of you, you're more than likely about to spend alot of money, there is nowhere to go but into them. i'd race OCS anyday over SoBo, plenty of room to pass or save it if there is a wreck or you get spun. wish i could make up it there to see him run, haven't been to SoBo since '06. |

Jeb has run OCS twice, 5th and a 10th, i believe. I don't think SBS will allow you to run until you are 16.
SBS isn't the same track since it was "expanded" from 3/8 to 4/10. What a shame, it was great before. Search you tube for Jeb Burton, there are pictures there of him and Ward at OCS. |

yeah i knew he had run there before, but i'd keep driving there until i got where i wanted to be driver wise. i'd wait til i made the move to late model before i starting trying different tracks, but i guess they want to run the hometown track. wish him the best, it'll be tough.
if they took down that damn inside wall that they had to have for the truck series to run there, then they'd have plenty of room. maybe move it back 6 feet, that would make a huge difference. that pit road is too wide for a local track anyways, looks like f'n pocono. |

Sure would love to be there for it!
But that is my ######## and I will be busy trying to catch my limit of Spanish Mackerals and Kings!

His sobo start might be delayed, he wrecked in practice monday and the car has to be clipped. Don't know if they will have it back together for Saturday or not. |
